Description:   Opened: 2007-03-23 13:17 0000 
The genkernel default configuration misses support for binfmt_misc which is
needed to register custom executable formats. dev-dotnet/pe-format is using
this for example. So 

CONFIG_BINFMT_MISC=m

in the default configuration would be a good thing.

Apparently x86_64 has this enabled, while x86 has not.

This is already fixed in newer versions of genkernel in subversion.

yep latest genkernel in portage has this fixed apparently. You can close the
bug

This is fixed in genkernel 3.4.7 which is now in the tree.
