Description:   Opened: 2007-03-22 17:58 0000
While transferring my pine setup from redhat to gentoo, I wasn't able to get
SMTP authorization to work. After figuring out that the useflag "passfile" was
required to get pine to compile with SMTP password support, I wasn't able to
get pine to read my .pine.pwd file. Using the string command on the pine
executable, I determined that the default file name is .pinepw. Since it's not
clear which is the most commonly used file name, please update gentoo pine
documentation to reflect this.

Reproducible: Always

You're right. I've added an elog note in pkg_postinst() which mentions this
feature, along with the file name used.

Thanks for pointing this out, and sorry for the trouble.
