Description:   Opened: 2007-03-20 17:15 0000 
The BrlTTY daemon which supports Braille displays is intended to be started at
boot via a rc script, which isn't currently provided.  I'd appreciate it if
somebody could come up with one.

I have added brltty-3.7.2-r1 to portage, and this revision includes a startup
script.
