I searched for and 7-zip capable extractor and found only one. Through the
forums I learned that xarchiver also supports 7-zip. I think it would be an
improvement to add all supported archives to the description of archive
managers.

I've added longdescription to metadata.xml, but unfortunately there is no
search tools yet making use of this. Anyway, it's too long for DESCRIPTION.

<longdescription>Archive manager for 7zip, arj, bzip2, gzip,
        iso, rar, lha, deb, rpm, tar and zip formats.</longdescription>

Hey thanks for the quick reply! Is there a way to make this visible in the
package database? http://packages.gentoo.org/search/?sstring=xarchiver. And I
bet they are working on a search tool for longdescription :)
