Description:   Opened: 2007-03-16 11:40 0000
From devrel mail box:

Hi Dev Rel,

I'm not sure whether you guys are the right port of call here, if not
please let me know. I noticed recently that my SSH public key has been
revoked for my dev account. I suspect it is because of 3+ months of
inactivity.

I'm still very interested in Gentoo, but real life obligations has meant
I've had very little time to commit to Gentoo. I do see that maybe 3-6
months down the line I will have more time on my hands. Given that
situation, is it best if I take temporary leave for a couple of months
and return, or do I just resign and re-join again when I finally have
more time?

Thanks,

Alastair

Thanks for that. Will is still have my @gentoo.org email, or should I start
changing my bugzilla account and mailing list subscriptions to something else?

Just to be sure this isn't misunderstood or interpreted wrongly.

We need to figure out if we're going to retire you or simply remove your commit
privs during this period at first. If we decide to retire you (temporarily)
your @gentoo.org account will be closed and you'll have a 30 day period where
mail is forwarded.

If we decide to just remove commit privs during the hiatus you'll retain all
other privs.
