When using 'tv_grab_na_dd' (part of xmltv) with XML-Twig-3.28, I get the following output: ... ERROR: did not see <xtvd> element in downloaded content -: no element found at line 1, column 0, byte 0 at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i686-linux/XML/Parser.pm line 187 I saw on an xmltv mailing list the following, which states that xmltv doesn't play well with XML-Twig-3.28: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.tv.xmltv.general/2055 After downgrading XML-Twig to version 3.22, 'tv_grab_na_dd' works again. I did not try xmltv-0.5.45 to see if it would work with XML-Twig-3.28. If I can provide any additional information, please let me know. Thanks.
yes, please backup /usr/bin/tv_grab_na_dd and then try to comment out the line in tv_grab_na_dd with "ignore_elts" as stated in the message you linked, and test it. This seems to be an issue of the only na_dd grabber, so if we can patch it directly that would be the best solution.
Hi Matteo, I did as you (and the link I posted) suggested, and commented out line 725 of '/usr/bin/tv_grab_na_dd' which reads "ignore_elts => { schedules => 1 },". I then went back to XML-Twig-3.28 and tested the 'tv_grab_na_dd' -- everything worked as expected. Thanks again for your help. If you need anything further, please let me know.
Fixed in cvs for both xmltv-0.5.44 and 0.5.45
