The new gnuplot version is finally available. Please have a look at bug 
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156427
for a tetex useflag and a correction for the tex files.

Bumped to 4.2_rc4.

Grant: 4.2 series fails tests for me when there is no X available. I guess
either we need to fix the tests (many tests), or to RESTRICT=test the whole
package which is a nuisance.

or use virtualx.eclass (which could use a cleanup too)
