See bug 165508. The OP never answered my question there and I havent been able to duplicate it, so please post emerge --info on there as well, and if you had gnome-python installed already.

Thanks

BTW: 2.2.7 is out
Comment 9 Steve Dibb (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-12 21:04:20 UTC
The configure script is whacked on this thing (2.2.7), and I can't figure it out. If someone wants to post an ebuild, I'll be glad to look at it. It's a little beyond my abilities right now.

This is worked for me

GRAMPS 2.2.8 has just been released.

For me, too. And just changing the filename to 2.2.8 worked as well. Should be added to portage.
Comment 13 Christian Schmitt 2007-07-03 09:44:35 UTC
So, as 2.2.8 runs for over a month here without problems, it should go into the official portage tree, IMHO. Could someone do this please?
Comment 14 Steve Dibb (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-07 02:14:49 UTC
Alright, well the build problems were related to other borkage on my test box, so we are good to go after all.

Bumped in CVS, thanks guys.

Please open a new bug if you have problems building / running.

Thanks
