Description:   Opened: 2007-03-03 13:17 0000
See the URL above for details.

Briefly, with auctex 11.84, C-c C-c fails to compile Japanese LaTeX files.
Though it is an upstream bug, a patch is available at the URL above.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a Japanese LaTeX file ("foo.tex" in the result below) with auctex
2. C-c C-c

Actual Results:
Compilation stops, or even doesn't start.
The output buffer (C-c C-l) shows:

Running `pLaTeX' on `foo' with ``platex "
-interaction=nonstopmode\input{"foo.tex"}"''
This is pTeX, Version 3.141592-p3.1.10 (euc) (Web2C 7.5.4)
! I can't find file `" -interaction=nonstopmode"'.
<to be read again>
\let
<*> " -interaction=nonstopmode\input
{foo.tex}"
Please type another input file name:
