Please keyword dev-libs/libmcs ~x86-fbsd, so you can readd your keyword to 1.3.0_rc1 of both media-plugins/audacious-plugins and media-sound/audacious. No need to bother with alpha5, it'll be gone within a few days.

libmcs-dl.patch

The only problem with libmcs is that it hardcodes linkage to -ldl which doesn't work on *BSD, this patch adds the dl.m4 macro with the needed changes to make it compile both linux and freebsd.

But it would be better if just taken as an example, and this get fixed upstream. Tony: can you take care of that?

libmcs-0.3.3_ebuild.patch

And the patch for the ebuild, just in case.

Hi. I have applied the patch to libmcs GIT.
Comment 4 William Pitcock 2007-02-27 04:22:14 UTC
This is fixed in upstream mcs-0.4.0.

And the last thing (i think), filed a bug with a patch for audacious-plugins to upstream: http://bugs-meta.atheme.org/view.php?id=814

Keyworded relevant versions of audacious*, closing.
