The latest version for app-crypt/signing-party seems to be 0.4.9, while Gentoo
is still on version 0.4.7.

Also it would be nice if a version could be stabilized?

As far as I'm concerned stable just means that the application seems to work as
intended and there are no bugs for it. Whether or not it is a niche product
doesn't really matter, I think.
