Description Fredrik Blom 2007-02-20 08:07:07 UTC
When using the speex use flag in games-fps/alephone-20061228, it is unable to compile correctly with media-libs/speex-1.1.12. It "bails out" when trying to compile microphone support for net gaming using the Speex format.

Short error log:

i686-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -I../../Source_Files/CSeries -I../../Source_Files/Files -I../../Source_Files/GameWorld -I../../Source_Files/Input -I../../Source_Files/LibNAT -I../../Source_Files/Network/Metaserver -I../../Source_Files/Misc -I../../Source_Files/ModelView -I../../Source_Files/Pfhortran -I../../Source_Files/RenderMain -I../../Source_Files/RenderOther -I../../Source_Files/Sound -I../../Source_Files/TCPMess -I../../Source_Files/XML -I../../Source_Files/Lua -I../../Source_Files  -I/usr/include/SDL -D_GNU_SOURCE=1 -D_REENTRANT -DSDL -I/usr/X11R6/include -L/usr/X11R6/lib  -Os -mtune=i686 -pipe -g -c -o network_microphone_shared.o network_microphone_shared.cpp
network_microphone_shared.cpp:46:19: fel: speex.h: No such file or directory

$ emerge -pv sdl-sound speex alephone
[ebuild   R   ] media-libs/sdl-sound-1.0.1-r1  USE="flac mikmod physfs speex vorbis" 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] media-libs/speex-1.1.12  USE="ogg sse -vorbis-psy" 723 kB
[ebuild     U ] games-fps/alephone-20061228 [20060506-r1] USE="opengl speex -lua" 0 kB

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add the use flag speex to /etc/make.conf
2. emerge alephone

Actual Results:
It fails to find the necessary speex.h header file located under /usr/include/speex/speex.h, so it is unable to compile.

Expected Results:
It should have been able to compile correctly.
