Starting the app I get:

...
kmyfirewall: WARNING: KXMLGUIClient::setXMLFile: cannot find .rc file
kmfinstallerpluginui.rc

But the file exists:
tfoerste@n22 ~ $ ls -l
/usr/share/apps/kmyfirewall/kpartplugins/kmfinstallerpluginui.rc
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1079 Feb 16 09:14
/usr/share/apps/kmyfirewall/kpartplugins/kmfinstallerpluginui.rc

Okay resolution for now is making a symlink in
/usr/share/apps/kmyfirewall/kpartplugins/kmfinstallerpluginui.rc to
kpartplugins/kmfinstallerpluginui.rc

I'll add that as 1.0.1-r1
still the app has broken connects which may reveal more breakage but that's
upstream's job, not ours ;)
