Description:   Opened: 2007-02-13 21:31 0000
Evolution account settings always display either a deactivated OK button or the
OK button gets deactivated after you change something.

Maybe a inversion somewhere in the logic?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install evolution 2.8.3 ?
2. add account (tested with exchange and IMAP)
3. try to change ANYTHING in the account settings.

Actual Results:
Not possible to apply any changes

Expected Results:
The active/deactive state of the OK button should be inverted

------- Comment #1 From Mart Raudsepp 2007-02-13 21:40:49 0000 -------
Works good for me, even with a fresh account as given in the reproducing
step-by-step guide. Can you give more information? emerge --info would be a
good start.

Problem exists on another machine (pentium-m ~x86) as well.

------- Comment #3 From Daniel Kenzelmann 2007-02-13 21:52:54 0000 -------
I can not definitely tell if it is caused by evolution, but on one machine, the
error existed even before upgrading evolution-data-server from 1.8.2 to 1.8.3
while evolution stayed on 2.8.3.

I will now try downgrading evolution to check this.

------- Comment #4 From Daniel Kenzelmann 2007-02-13 22:33:41 0000 -------
Seems to be a problem with evolution-exchange. Could you test it with
evolution-exchange installed?

------- Comment #5 From Daniel Kenzelmann 2007-02-13 22:49:19 0000 -------
extremely strange, after downgrading evolution to 2.8.2 and deinstallation and
re-installation of evolution-exchange it is working, will try tomorrow with
upgrading to 2.8.3 again..

------- Comment #6 From Daniel Kenzelmann 2007-02-14 10:32:19 0000 -------
ok, with evolution-2.8.2.1-r1 it is working, but updating evolution to 2.8.3
brings up the same problem. (with evolution-exchange-2.8.3 installed)

*** Bug 167581 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

------- Comment #8 From Peter Volkov 2007-02-25 10:22:09 0000 -------
While not in portage to fix the problem you could use patch in bug 167581.

------- Comment #9 From Daniel Ostrow 2007-02-25 23:44:25 0000 -------
I can confirm that I both experienced this bug and the aforementioned patch
fixes it.

------- Comment #10 From Daniel Gryniewicz 2007-02-26 17:57:08 0000 -------
Fixed in portage.
