Bugzilla Bug 166363

This could be related to bugs #151120 (bash 3.2 parsing # within backticks
incorrectly), but that bug states it's fixed in 3.2_p1. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install bash-3.2_p9-r1 (~x86)
2. Try to install =dev-java/sun-jre-bin-1.4.2.13
3.

Actual Results:
