Compiling the rt2500-Package against the 2.6.20-gentoo-sources works and the
rt2500-module loads fine, but with this my router cannot detect the
access-point
(cannot even pinged).
I synced today so the compiling fix for 2.6.20 is included.
dmesg shows this then:

is the problem, the other messages also occur in working configurations.
I think its a problem with the generated kernel module, because the with the
same network-configuration I got the following scenarios that work and do not
show the error in dmesg:

1. the same Gentoo rt2500-Package compiled against gentoo-sources-2.6.18-r6
2. the nightly snapshot of the rt2500-Package from today, downloaded from

   http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/

   works with gentoo-sources-2.6.20

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.buy a wlan-card with the rt2500-Chipset from Ralink.
2.emerge rt2500 against 2.6.20-gentoo
3.try to get a connection to your router/accesspoint

Actual Results:  
no connection to accesspoint possible, ping shows:

Destination Host Unreachable

Expected Results:  
you should get access to the router

OK, I've added a cvs snapshot which I've tested against gentoo-sources-2.6.20
on ~amd64
