/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/<perl_version>/<arch>-linux has to exist
for perldoc -r to work.

This has been reported upstream as RT/perl ticket #21408.  In the meantime,
I think it will be possible to implement the fix in the Gentoo perl build.

Fixed in 5.8.0-r10.
