Hi,

when trying to emerge dev-libs/xalan-c-1.10.0 with --as-needed LDFLAG,
compilation bombs out short after beginning. I'll attack the errormessage.

Adjusted the patch for trunk and reported upstream. To be on the safe side you
might want to comment on the bug giving ASF your consent to use it too.

Patch committed as there has been no response from the cpp herd in a month. I
also fixed LICENSE to Apache-2.0.
