xalan-c 1.10.0 fails to install. This version has previously worked. Please see
the forum entry in the above URL.

config.status: creating samples/Makefile
config.status: creating Tests/Makefile

If the result of the above commands look OK to you, go to the directory
/var/tmp/portage/xalan-c-1.10.0/work/xml-xalan/c and type "gmake" or "make" to
make the XALAN-C system.

Note: You must use GNU make to use the Xalan Makefile.
/usr/portage/dev-libs/xalan-c/xalan-c-1.10.0.ebuild: line 45:
--libdir=/usr/lib: No such file or directory

Actual Results:  
Sometime since last week, something has changed so that the package no longer
builds.
