Description:   Opened: 2007-02-02 08:04 0000
app-vim/gentoo-syntax-20061106 contains a java template that:

1) uses the depreciated generation 1 eclasses.
2) Fails to use the very helpful functions now available thru the java-pkg-2
and java-ant-2 eclasses.

The gentoo-java team will now longer accept 'generation 1' ebuilds so to avoid
confusion for users this template need to be updated.

Created an attachment (id=108913) [edit]
update-java-ebuild-template.patch

This patch will update the gentoo-syntax to contain an upto date template for
java ebuilds

This is my first attempt at a vim template. I believe it is of high quality
but if there are any errors, missed coding standards, etc I am happy to fix
them.

Your patch is applied in svn, r23. It will be part of the next release of
gentoo-syntax. Thanks for the report.

Fixed in 20070212 release, which should hit mirrors in a few hours.
