x86 stabled both clients and all of the plugins below. Please compile a list

teams.

As there was an upstream name change (sylpheed-claws -> claws-mail), I guess we
need to test the transition most. claws-mail-2.6.1 ebuild tells you about
${FILESDIR}/plugins-rebuild.sh, which checks your system for sylpheed-claws-*
plugins you have installed, merges their claws-mail-* equivalents and unmerges
sylpheed-claws-* packages.

Of course, if you didn't have previous versions of SC installed, there's no
point in running it...

------- Comment #5 From Ferris McCormick 2007-01-26 21:23:15 0000 -------
On sparc I have not run claws-mail-2.6.1. However, for information purposes
only, I'll mention that I have been running claws-mail-0.7.0 (and now, -0.7.1)
for a couple weeks with no problems at all.

------- Comment #6 From Jason Wever (RETIRED) 2007-01-29 00:07:05 0000 -------
Looks good in SPARC land, so stable it is!

------- Comment #7 From Jeroen Roovers 2007-01-29 05:26:46 0000 -------
Among several other problems (bug # for one thing) it seems that with USE="kde
-gnome", no link is installed in KDE's menu. With USE="kde gnome" it seems KDE
picks it up from GNOME automatically.

Er, that is bug #141674 (HPPA specific).

This is being dealt with in bug #159076 (which is closed as TEST-REQUEST, and
still waiting for a feedback from you, jer.

No, that's emerge failing with USE=kde, which was properly dealt with, *this*
is about emerging with USE="kde -gnome" and finding nog Claws Mail entry in the
Internet submenu in K-Menu. Obviously (to me, seen on several systems),
whenever the entry is present in KDE it is because KDE uses GNOME's entries
alongside its own. This happens on several systems, though I cannot specify
which versions or ebuilds. At least it happens with 2.6.1:

[ebuild R ] mail-client/claws-mail-2.6.1 USE="crypt dillo doc imap ipv6
kde pda spell ssl xface -bogofilter -clamav -gnome -ldap -spamassassin
-startup-notification" 0 kB

And that's on an x86. Want a new bug for that?

------- Comment #11 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2007-01-29 19:59:24 0000 -------
Ok, sorry - I confused application desktop entry with the konqueror servicemenu
entry.

Anyway, I have just updated claws-mail-2.6.1 (and all newer ebuilds) to install
a desktop entry to common place - /usr/share/applications, so that should be OK
now.

------- Comment #12 From Markus Rothe 2007-01-31 20:50:14 0000 -------
ppc64 stable

------- Comment #13 From Wendall Cada 2007-02-03 05:40:00 0000 -------
net-libs/liblockfile is not pulled in if not on the system on x86. This will
throw the following error:
claws-mail: error while loading shared libraries: liblockfile.so.1: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

Wendall

------- Comment #14 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2007-02-03 15:18:50 0000 -------
I am really curious on how did you get to that state. See, liblockfile linking
is brought in by libetpan, and only if liblockfile is present on the system
during libetpan merge (unfortunately libetpan has no configure option to
control this).

So only possibility is that you removed liblockfile sometimes after libetpan
and claws-mail were merged.

Here we go ...

mail-client/claws-mail-2.6.1 stable on alpha
mail-client/sylpheed-claws-2.6.1 stable on alpha

About the plugins, I didn't find any stable alpha keyword in sylpheed-claws
plugins so no more keywording for today.

Hope everything is all right.
Feel free to reopen if we need to fix/keyword something more.

------- Comment #19 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2007-03-06 17:46:21 0000 -------
Sorry for the bugspam, alpha, but bugzie doesn't allow reopening AND
reassigning at the same time...

ppc, ppc64, looks like you forgot to stabilize sylpheed-claws-2.6.1, which we
need for sylpheed-claws -> claws-mail transition...

Please do so at your convenience, thanks!

------- Comment #21 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2007-03-06 17:49:31 0000 -------
...and amd64 forgot the same thing. See my previous comment.

------- Comment #22 From Markus Rothe 2007-03-06 17:58:47 0000 -------
thanks. sylpheed-claws-2.6.1 stable on ppc64

------- Comment #23 From nixnut 2007-03-10 18:38:20 0000 -------
ppc done

------- Comment #24 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2007-04-03 22:11:12 0000 -------
amd64, sylpheed-claws-2.6.1 is still not marked stable by you. We really really
need it for sylpheed-claws -> claws-mail migration.

------- Comment #25 From Peter Weller 2007-04-07 15:14:54 0000 -------
Stable on amd64, thanks - sorry about the delay, closing...
