Description Jochen Schalanda 2007-01-10 10:48:50 UTC
The logrotate script for ClamAV contains two errors (newlines), which generate the following message when running it:

sh: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
sh: -c: line 1: ` /bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/clamav/clamd.pid 2> /dev/null` 2>'
error: error running postrotate script
sh: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
sh: -c: line 1: ` /bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/clamav/freshclam.pid 2> /dev/null` 2>'
error: error running postrotate script

Reproducible: Always

On a related note, the digest for clamav.logrotate is wrong, so 0.88.7, 0.88.7-r1, and 0.88.7-r2 fail to start building. Recomputed digest locally as a workaround.

OK, sorry about this. I committed corrected logrotate script before leaving to work in a hurry, and I left repoman at GPG passphrase prompt, prior to committing the Manifest, thus it was broken in the tree. Sven Wegener fixed that sometimes during that day, as I can see from CVS history.

My apologies for this.
