Description Zsolti 2007-01-01 10:58:23 UTC
bash-3.2_p9-r1 fails to build. with:
!!! ERROR: app-shells/bash-3.2_p9-r1 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1546: Called dyn_unpack
  ebuild.sh, line 708: Called src_unpack
  bash-3.2_p9-r1.ebuild, line 65: Called epatch '/usr/portage/app-shells/bash/files/bash-3.2-dev-fd-test-as-user.patch'
  eutils.eclass, line 341: Called die

!!! Failed Patch: bash-3.2-dev-fd-test-as-user.patch!

the cause is that bash-3.2-dev-fd-test-as-user.patch has wrong DOS cr.
wtf uses an editor on a ms system?

Kindly review https://bugs.gentoo.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity

And yet again, why the heck can't we stabilize sys-devel/patch-2.5.9-r1 that handles it just fine instead of having these pointless bugs? :X
