Description:   Opened: 2006-12-30 08:18 0000
I was looking through the nwn-data-1.29-r1 ebuild after a failed install of NWN
Platinum and found that there seems to be a wrong assumption of what is
included in the Platinum and Diamond sets. The Platinum set includes Shadows of
Undertide /and/ Hordes of the Underdard. The ebuild does not seem to account
for HotU being included in the Platinum set. I do not own the Diamond pack but
it includes both SOU and HotU but also, in addition, has another expansion
called Kingmaker.

To install Platinum (CD edition) with the hotu USE flag, I inserted CD1 when it
asked for the HotU CD and the install continued. It then failed and said:

 * Found CD #5 root at /media/_DISK1
 * Unpacking files...
sed: can't read /var/tmp/portage/games-rpg/nwn-data-1.29-r1/work/nwn/nwn: No
such file or directory

!!! ERROR: games-rpg/nwn-data-1.29-r1 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1603:   Called dyn_unpack
  ebuild.sh, line 732:   Called src_unpack
  nwn-data-1.29-r1.ebuild, line 441:   Called die

!!! sed nwn
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if
relevant.

!!! This ebuild is from an overlay: '/usr/local/portage'

I think this probably has something to do with the fact that HotU was trying to
be installed.

I will upload an ls -lR of all four Platinum discs and hope that helps.

Patch to ebuild to make Platinum set work .

I made these changes to the ebuild and now all works great for my Platinum CD
set. Let me know what you think.

Hrrrmn... I don't know where I got the information that Platinum was only
Sou... anyway, I'll get this fixed up on my next round of NWN updates. As for
the Diamond pack, while it includes Kingmaker, it is a .exe only and I've yet
to find an easy way to extract it. At any rate, it doesn't belong here,
really, and belongs on one of the Diamond DVD bugs, instead, so I'll remove it
from the summary.

Platinum DVD edition obviously has HotU too and is "detected" correctly. There
are no diskX.zip files on it though. Just skipping the unpacking for disk 2 - 4
should do the trick. ls -lR following

This should now be fixed. Since I don't own any of the newer media sets, I
cannot test this, though. Please let me know if this doesn't work for you.
