Description Spider (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-04-08 00:35:44 UTC
seems that all qpkg -c tests fail on md5.

tried this
unmerge openssl
(using ebuild /var/db/pkg...... unmerge)
emerge openssl
qpkg -c -vv openssl

and I get a -lot- of errors.

I know none of the files should have been changed, so i suspect a big bug here.

qpkg needs to be synced with Portage 1.8.19 -- Geert and I want to roll qpkg
functionality into emerge very soon, fyi.

qpkg is originally vitaly's tool. I have no intention of maintaing it as most of
this functionality is moving into Portage.

I will leave qpkg in gentoolkit for a few more weeks until all of its
functionality is added elsewhere, as I don't imagine vitaly is going to maintain
it any more.
