I am using a 2006.1 gentoo install newly installed off of the livecd.

I tried to do an emerge mythtv and it failed looking for the file
"/usr/include/X11/extensions/Xinerama.h".

The xineramaproto ebuild provides this file, so it looks to me that mythtv
requires xineramaproto as a dependency.

Similarly, I had this problem with xf86vmode.h, requiring me to emerge
x11-proto/xf86vidmodeproto.

After emerging those two packages, MythTV compiled without problems.
