Version 0.14.2 available since Dec. 2 Changes: A bug with nautilus behavior when clicking on a planner file was fixed. A bug where guide lines are painted behind a project start date rather than on top was fixed. -Wno-return-type was added to allow compiling with a database enabled patch. Arabic support was added. A crash in gantt view was fixed.
Using a renamed planner-0.14.ebuild works for me.
Renamed ebuild works fine here too. Portage 2.1.1-r2 (default-linux/x86/2006.0, gcc-3.4.6, glibc-2.4-r4, 2.6.16.16 i686)
I tried renaming (copying) this way: cd /usr/portage/app-office/planner cp planner-0.14.ebuild planner-0.14.2.ebuild but it lead to an error concerning Manifest files. Could you point me to a howto where such renaming tricks are described?
You should create a local overlay like '/usr/local/portage' because all ebuilds you create in '/usr/portage/' will be deleted during the next syncing. To have the overlay available, you need to add 'PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" to your make.conf. Create the dir: 'mkdir -p /usr/local/portage/app-office/planner'. Copy the ebuild 'cp /usr/portage/app-office/planner/planner-0.14.ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-office/planner/planner-0.14.2.ebuild'. Then you need to create the Manifest files: 'ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-office/planner/planner-0.14.2.ebuild digest'. To have the ebuild found, issue 'emerge --metadata'. Now, you should be able to emerge the new package. BR, Dustin
