Hi!

Here on ~amd64, it fails. See attached log.

Sincerely,

Hi!

Here is part of log showing the failure.

Sincerely,
Gour
Comment 3 Alexis Ballier gentoo-dev 2006-12-14 01:55:54 UTC
Does it apply the x264 patch when you merge it ? I had fixed this issue one month or so ago.

No, emerge does not apply patch, while runnning ebuild unpack does it :-/

Is it some portage bug?

Sincerely,
Gour

It should be the same as emerge to do ebuild unpack, could you attach your full build log please ? I don't understand why emerge would not apply the patch and ebuild does it...

Oops...please, forgive me. It was problem with my old libquicktime-0.9.10 ebuild in the local overlay, while the one from portage (called when I was doing ebuil unpack) works OK.

So, everything is fine here ;)

Excuse me for making extra-noise :-(

Sincerely,
Gour

media-video/kino-0.7.6, the current stable on amd64, doesn't build with libquicktime-0.9.10 anymore, while it did with libquicktime-0.9.7-r1. I tried kino-0.9.5, but it isn't suitable for stable either, for other reasons though. Adjusting the dependencies for kino doesn't work because it depends on an old-style virtual, so it can't be versioned.

Comment 8 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-07 22:17:32 UTC
the kino issue was resolved by marking 0.9.2 stable, so this is stable too on amd64
Comment 9 Jesse Adelman 2007-03-27 18:47:56 UTC
Just eager to see this made stable. I don't see any blockers here?
Comment 10 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-03-28 13:31:49 UTC
Seems only alpha is missing.
Comment 11 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-16 15:23:59 UTC
Alpha stable, sorry for the delay. Closing.
