Description Christian Ludwig 2006-12-05 14:52:20 UTC
There is a global use-flag "evo" for evolution support. mail-notification instead uses its own local use-flag "evolution" instead. Is that intended behaviour?

Shouldn't it switch to the global use flag instead?
Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-05 22:54:18 UTC
$ euse -i evo
global use flags (searching: evo)
************************************************************
[- ] evo - Adds support for evolution in gnumeric and multisync

# pquery --raw --no-version --has-use=evo
app-misc/beagle
app-mobilephone/bitpim
app-pda/multisync
app-pda/multisync-gui
net-mail/lbdb

Doesn't exactly match the description, huh?

$ euse -i evolution
local use flags (searching: evolution)
************************************************************
[-    ] evolution (mail-client/mail-notification):
Provide an Evolution plugin

# pquery --raw --no-version --has-use=evolution
mail-client/mail-notification

How about fixing the evo flag description and killing evolution?

Comment 5 Carlos Silva (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-25 22:08:59 UTC
what would be the description?
"Adds support to evolution" ???
Comment 6 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-25 22:35:13 UTC
sounds good to me.
Comment 7 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-30 16:11:56 UTC
Finally fixed in CVS. I've fixed evo USE flag description on "Adds support for evolution". If you disagree, change in CVS, please ;)
