Hi George, 
 Runs fine. There is a new rc candidate I would update it but not sure it is enough 
of an update to matter yet. Will clean up the ebuild a bit and submit a diff soon.

correction to ebuild

AFAIK all that needs to be changed is the ebuild name to do a version bump. 
The diff just changes 'econf || die' to `econf` as per man 5 ebuild.
I ran ebuild setup against the new ebuld in /usr/local/portage this 
worked fine. ebuild unpack fails with 
doebuild(): aux_get() error: aborting.
From what I can gather the link points to

SRC_URI would also need to be updated.

Reclosing the bug (late change to bugzilla opened bunch of closed bugs).

Also looks like I did not get few notifications, after I closed the bug previously.
Anyway, I added the 0.3.1 version, testing would be welcome ;).
