Description Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-30 17:37:19 UTC
Hi Architecture teams,

xterm-223 is out today, and in portage under ~keywords. xterm-222 has been in the tree for long enough to be considered for stability. Please do your respective things.

Stable for HPPA. Thrice if need be. ;-)
Comment 4 Matthias Langer 2006-11-30 19:58:45 UTC
included category in the summary; this is convenient with an AT tool that is currently under development
Comment 5 Matthias Langer 2006-11-30 20:22:12 UTC
well, xterm-222 USE="truetype unicode -Xaw3d -paste64 -toolbar" seems to be basically ok for me on x86.

however, if switch to another font size, while the terminal is maximized, sometimes the area where the terminal should display its text, just stays white; after unmaximzing and maximzing the window again, the text is back ....

besides of that, xterm writes this into my gnome-terminal when i start it:

Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset

i don't know if this is connected to the first issue i described.

forget this one; it just may take some time -- sorry for the spam.

the same with xterm-218. to cut a long story short: xterm-222 seems to be fine on x86.

x11-terms/xterm-222 USE="truetype unicode -Xaw3d -paste64 -toolbar"
1. emerges on x86
2. passes collision test
3. works
