It is a font viewer for GTK+ 2.8 (in contrast to old
gfontview that is for GTK 1.x),
it can view user specified text redendered by several fonts
on one page to easy compare...

I would like this to be managed by the gnome herd. Other gnome-ers - any
objections?
A very nice gnomeish tool for web designers and other people who make images
that contain text

I'm ambivilent.  It seems fairly nice, but I'd never use it (nor would 90% of
desktop users, I'd guess) and it's 0.1.  I'm willing to be outvoted, tho.
