When you start after a clean emerge, you get:

Error loading perl.so: not found
I tried looking for and failed to find:
  /home/cm/.mcl/plugins/perl.so
  /usr/local/lib/mcl/plugins/perl.so
  /usr/games/lib64/mcl/plugins/perl.so
If you installed the standard binary distribution, you probably
forgot to move the plugin files to one of the above places.


A ln -s /usr/games/lib /usr/games/lib64 is one way to get around this problem.
