transcode-0.6.3 only has a cvs version in portage now.  And the dep of
>=media-video/transcode-0.6.3 picks up the cvs versions as being newer then the
real version if I use the ebuild in bug 14833

OK, since transcode-0.6.3 will hopefully in portage soon, here's a current
ebuild of 
dvd::rip-0.50.4. Some dependencies have changed and quite a fex bugs have been
fixed.
