Description:   Opened: 2006-11-24 04:27 0000
Two app-crypt/ophcrack binaries are available only in precompiled form: they
are bkhive and samdump2.

There are two issues:

1) to avoid revdep-rebuild problems they should be placed in /opt/bin (as file
or as symlink to files out of revdep-rebuild scope);

2) samdump2 requires libssl.so.0.9.7 and libcrypto.so.0.9.7 but openssl-0.9.8
is stable on almost all archs.

Please try ophcrack-2.3.3, it now builds the additional tools from source.

Now it works like a charm :-) Thanks!
