Hello... I'm only filing this "bug report" to request that an updated EBuild
for XD3D software (sci-visualization/xd3d) v8.2.3 be added to portage.

Version 8.2.3 has been available since June 2005 !!!

There have been many many little bug fixes & enhancements since v8.2.1 (from
May 2004) , which is the one currently in portage. (See CHANGELOG above.)

I hesitated to try and go improvise an EBuild myself, because there is a
Gentoo-specific diff file for v8.2.1, and I really have no idea how important
could be to update & include this as well for v8.2.3.

Currently using: Portage 2.1.2_rc1-r7 (default-linux/x86/2006.1, gcc-4.1.1,
glibc-2.4-r4, 2.6.17-gentoo-r7 i686)

Sorry for the delay! I just bumped the xd3d ebuild to
the latest xd3d-8.3.1.
