Workaround is to add to line 2 of /usr/bin/nxnode and /usr/bin/nxserver: PATH="${PATH}:/usr/bin:/bin:"

Changing bug state.
You most probably alread add a nx user before installing the server for the first time, check the ~nx folder has all the skel files and/or remove it completely before trying again. If that does not work, feel free to reopen the bug ;)
