XMMS is about to get removed from the current tree.
At http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/sound/xmms.xml there's a guide about how to remove this app by editing the /etc/make.conf and /etc/portage/package.use and rebuild the Tree without the xmms flag by executing "emerge -auvDN world".
xmms is still listed at http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/use-index.xml .
Please remove this Flag.

FYI, that page uses /usr/portage/profiles/use*desc

The flag can't be removed from use.desc file until it's removed by all packages. Packages will be updated to drop the useflag during this month, before xmms removal.
