That's a typical error you'd get with jikes. It will almost certainly compile
fine with javac and ecj.

Quick fix would be adding java-pkg_filter-compiler jikes to the ebuild.

 I would recommend that in the first place, although version 1.6-r1 has been
patched for jikes.  I stabled on x86 as the standard configuration works.

ppc can you do 1.5-r1 too please? I know -r0 wasn't stable but wouldn't hurt to
have all in line.
