Description:   Opened: 2006-11-04 01:02 0000
Hello,

The system-wide config file for elinks provided with the recent ebuilds,
elinks-1.10.4.conf, sets the default character set to us-ascii and the default
document encoding to ISO-8859-2. On the other hand, if the keys doing so are
not specified ELinks uses the relevant settings from the system (i.e. the
locale), which is more convenient to manage, especially when running in Unicode
mode - for some reason the character set menu within the program doesn't allow
for selecting UTF-8.

Attached you will find a patch which removes the aforementioned keys from
elinks-1.10.4.conf.
