This absolutely can't be stabilized until at least the linked bugs are fixed.

I believe it's better to wait for 2.0.3 to be stabilized (I will commit
2.0.3 shortly, the 2.0.2 that's currently archmasked in Portage has some
nasty bugs).

This isn't going anywhere; please backport all modular X dependency fixes to current stable version ASAP; virtual/x11 will be package.masked.

useflag description of "bacula-console" is used wrong in 2.0.3.
it states 

-=>>cat /usr/portage/profiles/use.*.desc | grep bacula-console
app-backup/bacula:bacula-console - Build console only bits, no gui

but imo it does it in reserve manner so only if set wx-console is build.

Installed versions:  2.0.3(13:24:31 07.06.2007)(X bacula-clientonly bacula-console bacula-nodir bacula-nosd -bacula-split-init -doc -gnome -logrotate -logwatch mysql -postgres python readline -sqlite sqlite3 ssl -static tcpd wxwindows)

This is a stabilization bug; everything else goes somewhere else.
