I rm'd the file and got it from http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/skins/Blue-1.6.tar.bz2 . Portage still tries to download failing with: "The file is already fully retrieved; nothing to do." I coompared the md5sum from that site and the file matches. I checked the Manifest "DIST Blue-1.6.tar.bz2 281056 RMD160 c16342d3131f01fbd294ff109b8ab31cef555d13 SHA1 2a082bdef2f5eebc403c234a036949f38683da06 SHA256 3a32b59bfc2c3c46acdead2ca65c592a696daaa42561dfcd45c10b8032de8c6d" for the md5sum entry and dthere was one. The sha1sum " d894cbd44ffb7bde14a8f9bbdac53525a51e1e08 Blue-1.6.tar.bz2" does not match that in the Manifest file.

same thing happens of course when you try to emerge mplayer-1.0_pre8 version... this is a fix/hack that solves the bug, but in a un-ethic way ebuild /usr/portage/media-video/mplayer/mplayer-1.0_rc1.ebuild digest
I can't also emerge mplayer because of this bug...
