After closing and opening my laptop display, display starts, flickers once and X dies. Sweet! Did this work before on 7.0/6.x?
This did not happen for me with the 6.x series. This happened immediately after updating to 7.1 stable.
Alright, create a bug with this information upstream at https://bugs.freedesktop.org and post the link here. Thanks!
Bug report created here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8717 Wendall
My bug was marked as a duplicate of a later reported bug :( Anyhow, their strange way of dealing with bug reports, here it is: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8776 It would appear as if this has been patched, so barring any strange timewarps where the same bug gets reported and this gets marked duplicate, this should be the page to track it now. Wendall
Alright, thanks for the update. We'll add the patch here once it's accepted into upstream GIT.
Fixed upstream and committed to master. Wendall
Thanks, I'll put this in hopefully today :)
Fixed in 1.1.1-r2.
