Description:   Opened: 2003-02-05 14:23 0000
I'm attaching an ebuild for Dr. Genius, an interactive geometry package for
GNOME 1.x. Its home page is at www.ofset.org/drgenius . (The ebuild alone is
sufficient for installing the program.) Thanks.

Ebuild for Dr. Genius

------- Comment #2 From Steven Lucy 2003-03-03 04:28:01 0000 -------
should be IUSE="nls", no?

------- Comment #3 From Justin Blanchard 2003-03-03 04:46:14 0000 -------
Right... I've also added an nls? ... line to DEPEND, just in case some user
enabled it for this package but not for gnome. See attachment.

Revised Ebuild

adds nls IUSE and nls ? (...) to DEPEND.

The world has not waited for us; version 0.8.4 is now out. The user docs are
now in a separate archive, so renaming the ebuild won't work. I'm attaching an
updated ebuild; I have verified that it builds and functions correctly on my
machine (a PPC box with gcc 3.2.x).
The new documentation is sadly incomplete, but it's good enough to help a
beginner figure out the software.

Updated ebuild (0.8.4)

This downloads and installs the separate documentation archive regardless of
USE flags; I believe this behavior is correct because it's only installing
/user/ docs.

drgeo 0.9.12 is now in ~x86.
Please test.

------- Comment #9 From David Grant 2004-10-13 23:11:42 0000 -------
Can someone create a version bump to 0.9.14?

I'm testing 0.9.12 now and will test 0.9.14 next.

------- Comment #10 From David Grant 2004-10-13 23:36:19 0000 -------
Please change summary of bug to "app-sci/drgeo-0.9.12.ebuild (new package)"

------- Comment #11 From David Grant 2004-10-13 23:37:53 0000 -------
When I got to Help in drgeo, I get the following error:

This help directory does not exist:
'/usr/share/drgeo/help/c'

Other than that bug, drgeo looks fine. I tested most of the drawing functions
and the export functions.

------- Comment #13 From Marcus D. Hanwell 2004-11-10 04:30:12 0000 -------
Simply renamed ebuild to drgeo-0.9.14.ebuild, built correctly under amd64 arch
using gcc 3.4.2-r2. I was able to run it, and have tested most of the drawing
functions and the PNG export function.

The docs do not install, and produce the same error mentioned previously. There
is an entry in the TODO file - 'Write a documentation. -in progress-'. There is
an online manual available.

------- Comment #14 From Olivier Fisette 2004-11-13 12:43:43 0000 -------
drgenuis is now drgeo. See bug 66165 for a request for a 0.9.14 version bump.
