Hi, here is an ebuild for the "X2 - The Threat" game on DVD, to join
games-strategy/x2-demo.

For a change, the *dynamically*-linked binaries are a valid option, because
they don't produce lots of warning messages and stuttering sound :)

The insignificant file differences are:

# diff --speed-large-files -Nqr /usr/local/games/x2 /opt/x2
Files /usr/local/games/x2/.manifest/x2.xml and /opt/x2/.manifest/x2.xml differ
Files /usr/local/games/x2/patch.txt and /opt/x2/patch.txt differ
Files /usr/local/games/x2/uninstall and /opt/x2/uninstall differ

Does this need gtk+-1 or gtk+-2?

Either. It has a "launcher" bash script which tries "launcher_gtk2" first, and
on failure tries "launcher_gtk".

So I installed x2 using this ebuild.... and ended up getting no more Gentoo
work done the entire weekend... I blame Paul!
