dev-java/sun-jdk-1.5.0.09 is out!

------- Comment #1 From Vlastimil Babka (Caster) 2006-10-07 16:34:19 0000 -------
We are aware of that. But won't add it into portage until it's released also
under DLJ license at https://jdk-distros.dev.java.net/developer.html - we don't
want to go back to fetch restricted ebuilds.

Feel free to post a comment if you spot it released.

------- Comment #3 From Martin Miller 2006-10-08 19:46:38 0000 -------
Did anyone open a bug report for Sun to update the DLJ license ?
They will probably forget; They can't even update their java.com releases after
each release...

------- Comment #4 From Conrad Kostecki 2006-10-11 01:09:44 0000 -------
May I ask why we are using in gentoo the DLJ Release?

------- Comment #5 From Vlastimil Babka (Caster) 2006-10-11 01:22:43 0000 -------
Because portage can download it for you, without fetch restrictions (friendlier
license).

Thanks 4 Info!

I've oppened an issue for this; See

------- Comment #8 From Josh Nichols 2006-11-21 14:00:01 0000 -------
Oddly enough, the distfile does seem to be available, even if they don't
advertise it... Fixed in CVS. Thanks for reporting.
