Please test and stabilize:

     dev-lang/mercury-0.12.2-r3 and
     dev-lang/mercury-extras-0.12.2-r2.

(Mercury is a strongly-typed, purely declarative language, a little similar to
prolog).

Note that dev-lang/mercury will take quite a few hours to compile and then run
its test-suite; mecury-extras is, by comparison, a much shorter emerge.

mercury-0.12.2-r3 emerges fine here (x86) but I don't know how to execute the
test-suite... Sorry for being so ignorant but should this be activated with the
RESTRICT flag?

The mercury-extras-0.12.2-r2 package will no longer install the interface
softlinks causing the collision-protect problems.

Jesus, you can run the mercury tests by adding setting FEATURES="test" and
ensuring that RESTRICT="test" is unset.

Stable on ppc

dev-lang/mercury-0.12.2-r3:
1.) emerges fine on x86, with the same QA Notices as Christian
2.) passes collision test
3.) all tests passed in test suite


dev-lang/mercury-extras-0.12.2-r2:

Thanks for the update Markus. The mercury header softlink collision is now
fixed in cvs.
