The consequence is you can not import songs with rhythmbox or quodlibet.
This bug is fixed in libgnomeui CVS.

I attached the patch. I applied it yesterday and now quodlibet works perfectly.

I too had some major issues with rhythmbox a few weeks ago, I'll see if the bug
is still there and if this patch fixes it. Thanks for providing the patch.

when trying to import songs rhythmbox was failing just as the bug report in the
summary mentioned, applying the patch fixed it

i just couldn't figure out how to use the correct EPATCH_OPTS to use to post an
updated ebuild
