Having done some very rudimentary testing, it appears that lyx (and deps) work
on ppc64.

The following needed to be keyworded :
app-office/lyx
dev-tex/chktex
dev-tex/dvipost
app-text/noweb

thanks! added ~ppc64. will go stable in ~30 days.

your bug report is 100% ok. though you *could* assign keywording bugs for ppc64
directly to ppc64@gentoo.org :-)
