Uhm, this doesn't belong to me...

------- Comment #2 From Michael Weyershäuser 2006-11-18 05:05:14 0000 -------
s4t4n: You're listed as maintainer in metadata, so that's why jakub assigned
this to you. If this is wrong please work out a deal with mobile herd and get
yourself out of there.
mobile: Whoever the maintainer of this package is: please decide if you want
this to go stable and add arches to CC (or close the bug).

------- Comment #3 From Stefan Schweizer 2006-11-18 05:09:13 0000 -------
s4t4n, please remove yourself form metadata

arches, please stabilize

------- Comment #5 From Michele Noberasco 2006-11-19 23:49:50 0000 -------
Sorry, you mis-understood me here (not that I did make myself very clear): I
don't want to yeld maintainership of this package, it's just that AMD64
stabilization is not my thing. Anyway, since this is now a global stabilization
bug, I'll go ahead and mark it stable on x86...

------- Comment #6 From Michael Weyershäuser 2006-11-20 01:35:13 0000 -------
OK, looks like we are talking in different directions here :) Arch Teams don't
decide when a package should go stable, that's up to the maintainer of that
package. That is why this bug got assigned to you in the first place, either to
say "Good idea" and request stabilization from the arches involved or to say
"No, this version isn't ready for prime time because..." and close the bug.
Only after that the Arch Teams get involved and test and stabilize this (or
report errors).

For amd64: Emerges and seems to be working fine, though I lack wireless
hardware to actually test it.

If this is meant for general stabilization somebody should also CC ppc since
they have this keyworded as well ;)

Correct, mine was the bad choice of wording in the first place. Anyway, go for
it: I have been running it for a couple months without issues :-)
